Not all dermatological conditions can be treated with topical treatments or medication. Sometimes surgery is necessary.

Most dermatologic surgery is done on an outpatient basis and requires only local anesthesia, which reduces recovery time and gets you back to your normal life as quickly as possible.

    Excision surgery is the removal of abnormal or cancerous cells from the skin. The tissue is then sent to a pathologist who will determine whether cancer cells are present.

  • Mohs

    Mohs micrographic surgery is a treatment for certain types of skin cancer that provides optimal results with the least amount of invasive surgery.
